Charoite

Charoite is a gemstone that is a member of the tourmaline family. It is a rare gemstone that is a violet to lavender-blue color. The violet color can be very intense in some stones. It is mined in the Sakha Republic in Russia. It is also known as a stone of transformation and helps one to move through change. It is named after the Russian village of Charo.
